The advantages of using fabrics made from bamboo fibers, compared to others of a synthetic nature made from oil, are both for the body and the environment.
Bamboo Bodysuit 0-36M
Discover the extreme softness of bamboo
In the world of bodysuits 0-36 months, J BIMBI, the bamboo fiber line is born. In the world of bodysuits.
Even softer, even more natural, even more sustainable… always one size fits all!
The bamboo fiber is extremely soft to the touch and delicate on the skin and represents a valid alternative to cotton.
The fabric is highly breathable, able to absorb moisture and sweat of the body, ensuring your child to stay always fresh and dry. In fact, even during the hottest days it is able to keep the body temperature below one or two degrees below normal.
The bodysuits made of bamboo fiber also protect the skin from ultraviolet rays and naturally possess antibacterial and anti-odor properties.
The bamboo leotard J BIMBI ® is an ideal choice for newborns due to its natural properties and sustainability.
The advantages of the Bamboo
The naturalness of the bamboo fiber is extremely soft, suitable for the delicate skin of babies. It is known for its strength and resistance, makes the garments less susceptible to tearing or fraying, maintaining the original shape and color even after numerous washes.
It is one of the most sustainable plants in the world. It requires very little water and no pesticide for its cultivation. Compared to most plants it absorbs much more CO2 with a consequent higher emission of oxygen. It is highly renewable and grows very quickly, its production has minimal impact on the environment.
J BIMBI®'S COMMITMENT TO THE ENVIRONMENT
Environmental sustainability is a principle that we, at J BIMBI®, hold very dear because we handle children products. Children are the future and It is up to us to leave them a better world.
Bodysuits 0-36 months = less environmental impact
The 0-36m bodysuits do their part in protecting the environment because by dressing the baby with just one size from 0 to 36 months, the amount of bodysuits needed as he or she grows decreases. In this way, energy and water consumption are reduced and disposal problems are limited.

Let's calculate this together:
Traditional bodysuits cover the first 36 months of a child’s life in about 9 sizes; assuming to “skip” a few sizes as the child grows and that about 10 bodysuits per size are needed, a child would use about 50 bodysuits (5 sizes x 10 bodysuits) in the first 3 years of his or her life.
Therefore, 50 bodysuits are the minimum necessary, but we know that the amount of bodysuits used, or at least purchased, can grow if considering impulse buying purchases (“that’s too cute, I must get it!”) even when not really necessary. In addition, there are those bodysuits purchased as replacement for those that get damaged/stained and those that are received as gifts from friends and relatives, especially in the first few months, when the baby grows at the speed of light and many items remain unused.
With the J BIMBI® newborn bodysuits that are one-size-fits-all and thus can be worn from birth until he or she is 3 years old, theoretically 10 bodysuits (1 size x 10 bodysuits) are sufficient, with a saving of 40 bodysuits for each baby!
Considering this calculation on a national scale, and approximately 400,000 births per year, the number of bodysuits that could be potentially saved in Italy alone is 16 million!
