The J BIMBI® brand was born with a line of OEKO-TEX® certified stretchable bodysuits that can follow the fast growth of the baby preventing unnecessary waste due to the constant size changes needed with traditional bodysuits and thus saving money. The 0-36 month one-size bodysuits in Dryarn® (a high-performance hypo-allergenic microfibre that was dermatologically tested) and the cotton bodysuits in two different sizes: 0-12 months and 9-36 months.
The excellent feedback from mothers and their recommendations pushed us to implement an idea that seemed impossible: creating a one-size 0-36 months cotton bodysuit Thanks to the great intuition of the J BIMBI® team, the patented cotton one-size 0-36m bodysuit was born. In the same year, we changed the packaging of our bodysuits: all in cardboard to minimise packaging and its environmental impact to fully support an eco-sustainable philosophy. Environmental sustainability, energy saving and respect for the environment are among our fundamental values and we work every day to become an increasingly “green” company: The J BIMBI® for Planet project embodies this commitment.
We acquired distribution rights for Arnidol®, a FAES FARMA brand, with a line of highly effective emergency products, dermatologically tested for paediatric use for babies over 3 months of age: the magic wand that protects children and help their mothers!

THE TURNING POINT
J BIMBI® was no longer just one-size bodysuits, but became a childcare brand with a complete line of products for babies, always characterised by innovation and practicality.
We obtained the international patent for the invention of the first one-size cotton bodysuit for babies from 0 to 36 months.
We launched on the market a complete line of products for sucking and feeding: the innovative LOW VACUUM and ZERO BUBBLE bottles that help prevent otitis and colic, cups for the first sips, dosing devices, soup holders, breast pumps and ultra-ventilated pacifiers.
J BIMBI® bodysuits become Bio cotton: produced with 100% organic cotton of the highest quality that comes from organic seeds, grown in protected fields where no herbicides or pesticides of chemical origin are used.
As proven by GOTS certification, not only do we use natural fibers from organic farming, but also the dyeing process is based on the use of natural products free of toxicological and ecotoxicological characteristics.
Every stage of work in the bodysuit creation process is constantly controlled and monitored to ensure proper working conditions, attentive to child labor, wages, hours, safety and professional growth, as attested by SA8000 certification.
J BIMBI® is a Colpharma brand, a leading company in the distribution of electro-medical products including aerosols. This is why we created Dr. Dog, a compressed-air aerosol therapy system for paediatric use. Its colourful and entertaining dog-shaped design and its silent operation are ideal for improving the therapeutic approach in children.
2020 was a very important year for J BIMBI® thanks to the My Hero NICU projectMy Hero designed to support Neonatal Intensive Care Units all over Italy by donating bodysuits specifically designed for babies born prematurely. The J BIMBI® family included a new range of innovative pacifiers: Joy, the all soft pacifier in medical and orthodontic silicone and Smile, the pacifier with an ultra-ventilated shield without handles. Both, with teardrop-shaped symmetrical nipples, are also available in the Night version, which lights up in the dark. Joy Night is the world’s first pacifiers that is both soft and glowing at the same time!
